Welcome to James Glen Cars, a family
owned and ran business since 1982.

Firstly, yes, we are the people who were in
Hamilton for 23years! Its something that we
are asked almost daily and would like to take
this opportunity to thank all our old customers
for taking the time to track us down at our new home in Chaplehall, Airdrie.

We are a mostly internet based operation with a clean, warm indoor garage allowing our customers to view our cars no matter what the weather, or time of day.

We take great care to ensure our vehicles are well prepared and competitively priced.

To show our level of presentation, 16+ photographs are available via email. Simply send your request to sales@jamesglen.co.uk with the car in question in the subject and we will respond within a few hours(during business hours). Don’t worry about large file sizes, attachments are compressed into no larger that 3MB, we know how much of a pain large attachments can be!

Checking our prices weekly, we are confident our cars represent the best value based on their make, model, mileage and specification. At the end of the day, our cars are going to appear in price order, so we try and ensure we aren’t at the bottom of the pile (and top of the price list!). We may not appear to be THE cheapest, but if you compare our cars attributes, we’re sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

When coming to our premises, please don’t be afraid to ask for directions, as being based within Chaplehall Trading Estate, we are not visible from the road and may take a quick phone call to make your trip out to see us a little easier, no one likes getting lost! For those of you who intend to use Sat Nav, best to use Aberdeen Road, Airdrie. This should bring you straight to our door!

For customers looking to buy from a distance, we are happy to collect you from either Glasgow International Airport, or Motherwell Train Station. Don’t worry about coming a distance, it happens several times a month. We will ensure that you will be in your new car and on your way as quickly as you need .We can appreciate you may have a long drive home!

Holding deposits can be made over the phone using your debit or credit card (credit cards deposit only) if you are unable to come to the garage for a few days, but don’t want to miss buying the car. Holding deposits are completely refundable, should the car turn out to be misdescribed or tangibly different to what you had seen in the photos. Thankfully this has only happened once in all the years we have offered this service!
