About us

Originally based in Hamilton, James Glen Car Sales was established in 1982 by James Bogan and Glen Carson, hence the name James Glen.

Toward the end of our time in Hamilton, the job was beginning to change, with customers doing most of their shopping from the comfort of their home, picking out specific makes and models using the Autotrader site. This negated the need for a main street showroom set up and the associated costs involved.

The decision was the made to change our business model to what we are today. An internet focused car dealership. This allows us to maintain lower overheads and sustain the internet sharp prices that the modern consumer has grown to expect.

Whilst we have moved away from the main street, we have not forgotten what customers expect when visiting, with tea and coffee available in our waiting area with entertainment courtesy of our Playstation available for the kids (or Mum & Dad!).

Our business model may have changed over the years, but our ethos remains the same as always. Without your business we have no business.
