1993 (K)AutoZam AZ-1

Part of my modest collection of older special marques, and part of the sale of my two Kei cars (other being a 1991 rust free Suzuki Cappuccino) as they are being used less and less and with new additions, will likely see even less miles and I buy cars to use, not just to look at. As lovely as they are to have around! A little trooper that brought me home all the way from Sweden where I picked the car up from three years ago. I have a special bond with this one, but with new adventures on the horizon, I will be putting the funds to better use. In my ownership, I've had a new bluetooth stereo fitted, castor correction plates and full geo set up carried out. The oil has been changed this year and new decal pack fitted. Timing belt and major service had just been carried out prior to my collection. It came with a Kakimoto exhaust which looks amazing with all its beautifully polished pipework, Silkyroad Coilovers (very high end and specialise in Kei cars), MOMO Steering Wheel and Gear Knob. The dial facias and heater panel have also been changed for RiceRacer items, oh so JDM. Lights have been changed for LED items and work exceptionally well and being dark, compliment the 1 of 1 carbon bonnet matching up well with its R32 style boot spoiler. The body work is exceptional, and the interior is superb with the original seat fabric showing little sights of wear. The Watanabe wheels have been refurbished with a gunmetal powder coat and diamond cut lip and shod in matching Yokohama tyres all around. Perfect order AZ, even with fully working AC, and a complete show stopper at any event. We have had countless people visit the garage just to see it in the flesh, not many cars command that sort of attention!
