Hi, and welcome to James Glen Cars, a family owned and ran business since 1982.

Firstly, we would like to answer a few of our most asked questions!

Are we the people who were in Hamilton for all those years? Yes we are, and would like to thank every one of our old customers who have taken the time to come to our new premises, here in Chapelhall Trading Estate, Airdrie.

How do you get your cars so clean? Well, starting with good clean examples does help, although we see presentation as one of the most important parts of our job, spending on average around 6-8hours on each car prior to our photography session.

Do you specialize in BMWs? Having a fantastic long standing relationship with a Perthshire based BMW dealership does help! Although we see ourselves more as specialists in quality, rather than a particular make or model.

Can I reserve a car? A Holding deposit of £200.00 can be made, securing the car until you are able to view the car in person. These deposits are fully refundable, should the car be different, misdescribed or tangibly different to what has been seen in the photos. We will also refund any reasonable travelling expenses incurred.

Why do you have so many photos available? That's an easy one, to show off our cars and to show distance buyers, that we have nothing to hide and to proceed with confidence. A lot of time and effort goes into preparation and photography, to put our customers at ease that the car they are looking at in the photo, is a true representation of the car you are coming to see.

Its been an interesting end to the summer with the credit crunch never off the news, bringing with it cheaper houses, cheaper cars and unfortunately cheaper trade in prices. Nothing has been left untouched. But it all boils down to the same thing, change over price at the end of the day. Better, newer cars have never been so affordable.

Price being one of the most important factors of the job, every one of our cars is price checked weekly using Autotrader, to ensure that the stock we have offers the best value for money based on their Age, Make, Model, Specification and Mileage. At the end of the day, our cars are going to appear in price order, so we try and ensure we aren't at the bottom of the pile (and top of the price list!). We may not appear to be THE cheapest, but if you compare our cars attributes, we're sure you'll be pleasantly surprised!

The additional photos we have on offer can be requested simply by sending your request to sales@jamesglen.co.uk with the car in question in the subject header. Please feel free to add any other queries you may have. Requests are usually dealt with within 2-3hrs during business hours, but we, like everyone, have our own fair share of I.T problems from time to time, so please don't hesitate to give us a call at the garage to make sure your request has been received.

When coming to our premises, please don't be afraid to ask for directions, as being based within Chapelhall Trading Estate, we are not visible from the road and may take a quick phone call to make your trip out to see us a little easier, no one likes getting lost! For those of you who intend to use Sat Nav, best to use Aberdeen Road, Airdrie. This should bring you straight to our door!
